PERSONAL POST {KATY TEXAS - CHILDREN PHOTOGRAPHER}

It has been a little while since I last blogged. I've been down in my back and haven't really used my camera so, I wanted to share a little personal post with you all.

This is my beautiful daughter Celsy. She is in Pole Vault this year and just finished up basketball. <---- I am one proud mama to this fantastically beautiful girl!!  I am by no means a sports photographer, but I just wanted to share some happy mommy pictures. :) Some of these were taken yesterday (Friday) at her District Track Meet. Yes, she made District!! <---- another proud mommy moment. Hope you guys enjoy and leave this awesome teen some love. :)

SWEET 16 {KATY TEXAS - TEEN PHOTOGRAPHER}

How bout this weather that's going on right now? haha Well in between the freezing temps, rain, sleet, wanna be snow,  I got to photograph this beautiful gal for her sweet 16 this past weekend on one of the warmer days. Her mom did a fabulous job on everything and this girl was just gorgeous!!!

GRAND OPENING - LUBY'S/FUDRUCKERS {CINCO RANCH - KATY TEXAS)

I am so excited to announce that my husband (Jay) is the General Manager of the new Luby's/Fuddruckers restaurant. It's a very exciting time for both of us and we both are so happy. I'm so glad he's finally closer to home and he gets to manage a new store, even though right now his hours are very long. Hopefully things will get back to "normal" soon. haha

 The Grand Opening of this new location was January 9th. Have you guys checked it out yet?? Well, I also got to hang out the day before for the Ribbon Cutting and take some pictures of my own. It was a neat experience to get to see the new store, put some names to faces, and watch everything in action.

FAMILY SESSION {LAKE JACKSON, TEXAS }

My brother and his beautiful family came down for the holidays. I finally got to meet my most adorable little nephew and hold him and squeeze him, and well... you know. haha
It was so nice to hang out with you guys. So nice that you are going to get to stay down here for a bit Emily. I'm hoping we can get together and hang out soon. It's such a pleasure to get to hang around you guys!!

CAKE SMASH {KATY TEXAS - CHILDREN PHOTOGRAPHER}

I am finally getting around to posting these. I have no idea why I procrastinated for so long. LOL
Oh well. I'm so happy to finally be able to share some of these photos.  First, I would like to thank our cake maker Ashlee. She was really super awesome in putting together this cake last minute. I hired her for a specific date because she was available, but the weather just did NOT cooperate that day and she called me to ask if I wanted to reschedule. The next scheduled date, Makynlee fell on her face the day BEFORE her cake smash. Oh gosh.. I was so worried, but I called her up and she told me no problem. I even sent her a picture of my baby's face. I went ahead and scheduled the next date again for the third time and it started pouring down rain that day.... sigh...  I ended up just having it made and accepted the fact that I was never going to have a "perfect" day for this. We stuck the cake in the fridge where it sat for only one day because we were able to use it the next day. YAY!! Fourth time's a charm right? haha I was so excited and nervous about my own child's cake smash. Why? I have no idea. I get so nervous before any session. We were running late for it though, because I was waiting for the whole family to be there to watch her just eat this beautiful cake. Funny right? I got there as the sun was already past where I had wanted it, but I did manage to get some shots before we lost the sun completely. I'm so glad. There was no way that cake was going back home to try again. haha <---really.. no way!!
